Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies in Grove, OK is seeking a qualified Quality Inspector to perform in-process, first article, receiving and final inspections on aircraft parts and processes. You will read planning documents, tool designs and blueprints to document precise inspection records and support continuous improvements.

Responsibilities include calibrating inspection tools, interfacing with multiple departments on quality issues, guiding operators on specs, and initiating nonconformance

Qualifications

• Requires 1 year of inspection experience.
• Requires 6 months manufacturing experience.
• Familiarity with quality procedures is preferred.

• Calibrate inspection tools and equipment prior to using.

• Provide and assist operators in understanding and interpreting quality specifications and procedures.
• Initiate and prepare nonconformance reports and provide to QA administrator.
• Conduct internal audits as required.
• Suggests new and improved methods for continuous improvement of the quality management system.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
