Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies, LLC is seeking a quality inspector to perform in-process, first article, receiving and final inspections on aircraft parts and processes. • High School diploma or better.
• 6 months manufacturing experience
• 1 year: inspection experience

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process, first article, receiving and final inspections on aircraft parts and processes.
• Read and interpret planning documents, tool design, blueprints, specifications and quality inspection procedures to develop clear records.
• Calibrate inspection tools and equipment prior to use.
• Interface with other departments on quality-related issues.
• Provide guidance to operators on quality specifications and procedures.
• Initiate nonconformance reports and forward to QA administrator.
• Conduct internal audits as required.
• Suggest continuous improvement ideas for the quality management system.
• Perform other assigned tasks.

• Suggests new and improved methods for continuous improvement of the quality management system.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Education

Experience
