Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies in Garden Grove, CA is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform in-process, first article, receiving and final inspections on aircraft parts. You will read planning documents, calibrate tools, and create precise inspection records while supporting cross‑functional teams to uphold quality standards.

This full-time weekend shift reports to the Department Supervisor and requires a High School diploma and 1+ years of inspection experience. Training and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret planning documents, blueprints, specifications and quality procedures to develop clear inspection records.
• Perform and document in-process, first article, receiving and final inspections on aircraft parts.
• Calibrate inspection tools and equipment prior to use.
• Interface with multiple departments on quality issues and ensure procedures are followed.
• Initiate nonconformance reports and assist QA administrators.
• Conduct internal audits and suggest improvements to the quality management system.

Job Description

• Perform and document in-process, first article, receiving and final inspections on aircraft parts and processes
• Read and interpret information from planning documents, tool design, blue prints, specifications and quality inspection procedures to develop clear, complete and precise records of inspection
• Calibrate inspection tools and equipment prior to using
• Interface with other individuals from various departments on issues related to quality
• Provide and assist operators in understanding and interpreting quality specifications and procedures
• Initiate and prepare nonconformance reports and provide to QA administrators
• Conduct internal audits as required
• Suggests new and improved methods for continuous improvement of the quality management system
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Physical Demands:

Must be able to consistently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50-75 lbs. This is a physically active job. That requires vision, average sight, touch, and MUST be able to wear PPE.

Education:

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (required)
