Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies, LLC is seeking an Inspector to perform and document inspections on aircraft parts and processes. You will read planning documents and blueprints, calibrate tools, and ensure accurate records are maintained.

Responsibilities include coordinating with departments on quality issues, assisting operators with specifications, and contributing to continuous improvement within the quality management system. Prior inspection experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School or better.
• 1 year of inspection experience.

• Read and interpret planning documents, blueprints, specifications and quality inspection procedures to develop clear, complete and precise records of inspection.
• Calibrate inspection tools and equipment prior to using.
• Interface with other individuals from various departments on issues related to quality.
• Provide and assist operators in understanding and interpreting quality specifications and procedures.
• Initiate and prepare nonconformance reports and provide to QA administrator.
• Conduct internal audits as required.
• Suggests new and improved methods for continuous improvement of the quality management system.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
