Job summary

Marand US Holdings in Wisconsin is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure materials, components, assemblies, and finished products meet engineering drawings, customer specs, and AS9100 requirements in a highly regulated aerospace environment.

You will work across receiving, in-process, first article, and final inspections, maintain traceability, and support continuous improvement initiatives while collaborating with manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• ASQ CQI certification or equivalent is preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years manufacturing inspection experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of GD&T and dimensional inspection techniques.
• Experience with AS9100, ISO 9001, or equivalent quality systems.
• Experience conducting AS9102 First Article Inspections.
• Experience inspecting aerospace, defense, or precision-machined components.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and electronic quality records.

e Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring materials, components, assemblies, and finished products conform to engineering drawings, customer specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. The role supports manufacturing operations through receiving, in-process, first article, and final inspections while maintaining product traceability and compliance within a highly regulated aerospace and defense manufacturing environment.

The position plays a critical role in ensuring products meet customer expectations, AS9100 quality requirements, and all applicable contractual obligations while supporting operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.

WHAT YOU BRING

• ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or equivalent certification, desired.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 3 years manufacturing inspection experience
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of GD&T and dimensional inspection techniques
• Experience using precision measuring equipment
• Experience with AS9100, ISO 9001, or equivalent quality systems
• Experience conducting AS9102 First Article Inspections
• Experience inspecting aerospace, defense, or precision-machined components
• Working knowledge of CMM equipment and inspection software
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and electronic quality records
• Physically fit to perform the inherent requirements of the role.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing quality systems and inspection methodologies.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments while maintaining accuracy.
