Job summary

OCF Realty is seeking an Inspector to join our property management team in Philadelphia. You will perform detailed inspections of managed properties, document conditions via Google Photos, and report findings in Appfolio.

You will also assist with minor repairs and routine maintenance tasks, and help with key management when needed. Successful candidates will have a valid driver's license, strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency with Google Suite.

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Keen eye for spotting and diagnosing repair issues.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and experience with Google Documents, Sheets, and Photos.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Prior experience in property management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed property inspections for OCF-managed properties.
• Utilize Google Photos and company cell phones to document inspections with clear records.
• Report essential findings tied to photographic records in Appfolio.
• Perform minor repairs and routine maintenance tasks (e.g., air filters, pest control, lighting, locks).
• Take corrective action in common spaces and vacant units when possible.
• Assist with key testing, duplication, lock-outs, and drill-out locks as needed.
• Communicate urgent action items and significant findings to the Inspection Manager.

Job description

OCF Realty is a leading property management firm based in Philadelphia that is committed to providing exceptional services across a diverse portfolio of residential properties. We are currently seeking an Inspector to join our property management department. Reporting to our Inspection Manager, this role will collaborate closely with our maintenance team, conducting field visits to managed properties for routine inspections and assisting with documenting priority maintenance requests. This individual will be responsible for regularly uploading property inspections and submitting detailed reports to our property management platform, Appfolio. Since you will be using technology to expedite your work, computer knowledge is required. If you have a strong work ethic, are energized by problem-solving in the field, and find fulfillment in submitting detailed reporting, you may be an excellent fit.

This position offers a salary of $40,000 - $50,000 commensurate with experience and includes a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off, medical and dental insurance, and 401k matching.

• Taking corrective action when possible in common spaces and vacant units such as tidying mail, picking up trash, etc.
• Support key management efforts by assisting with key testing, duplication, lock-outs, and drill-out locks when necessary.
• Communicate urgent action items and significant findings to the Inspection Manager as needed
  

Education, Experience, and Skills Required:

• Valid driver's license required
• Keen eye for spotting and diagnosing repair issues, and being able to quantify the problem
• Proficiency in Google Suite and experience collaborating in Google Documents, Google Sheets, and Google Photos.
