Job summary

Techno Consult Engineering, PC is seeking an Inspector to oversee project NR-111 with NYCDEP, ensuring work aligns with plans, specifications, and safety standards. The role involves daily inspection of civil and infrastructure activities, documenting observations, and coordinating with contractors and NYCDEP to resolve field issues.

Candidates should have a Civil Engineering background, experience inspecting infrastructure projects, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline preferred.
• Experience inspecting civil, utility, water, sewer, or infrastructure construction projects.
• Knowledge of construction methods, plans, specifications, and inspection procedures.
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• NYCDEP project experience is preferred.
• Experience working on fresh water reservoir projects or water treatment/storage facilities.

Compensation

The anticipated compensation range for this position is between $45-$65/hr. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, education, certifications, skills, and work location.
