Job summary

Techno Consult Engineering, PC is seeking an Inspector to oversee a NYCDEP NR-111 project. You will supervise construction activities to ensure work aligns with plans, specs, safety standards, and NYCDEP requirements.

Responsibilities include daily inspections, reporting, material verification, and coordinating with contractors and NYCDEP representatives to resolve field issues. A strong emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance will guide the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline preferred.
• Experience inspecting civil, utility, water, sewer, or infrastructure construction projects.
• Knowledge of construction methods, plans, specifications, and inspection procedures.
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• NYCDEP project experience is preferred.
• Experience working on fresh water reservoir projects or water treatment/storage facilities.

COMPENSATION

The anticipated compensation range for this position is between $45-$65/hr. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, education, certifications, skills, and work location.
