Job summary

Techno Consult Engineering, PC (Techno) is seeking an Inspector to support the NYCDEP NR-111 project. You will oversee construction activities to ensure work is performed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and NYCDEP requirements.

You will inspect daily activities, monitor contractor work, document field observations, verify materials and workmanship, and coordinate with engineers and NYCDEP representatives to resolve field issues while promoting a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
• Experience inspecting civil, utility, water, sewer, or infrastructure construction projects.
• Knowledge of construction methods, plans, specifications, and inspection procedures.
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• NYCDEP project experience is preferred.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Experience inspecting civil, utility, water, sewer, or infrastructure construction projects.
• Knowledge of construction methods, plans, specifications, and inspection procedures.
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• NYCDEP project experience is preferred.
• Experience working on fresh water reservoir projects or water treatment/storage facilities.

COMPENSATION

The anticipated compensation range for this position is between $45-$65/hr. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, education, certifications, skills, and work location.
