Job summary

MCC is hiring a Material Handler in Missouri to support production with safe, efficient material movement and accurate record-keeping. The role requires operating material handling equipment, following documented procedures, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet production goals.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, forklift experience, and strong basic math/reading skills. The position offers an hourly wage and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Reads job tickets and layouts to produce the correct product of the highest quality.
• Executes planned schedules to maximize throughput.
• Coordinates workflow with associates to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintains performance metrics at or above the department average.
• Completes required documentation accurately and promptly.
• Safely operates material handling equipment.
• Keeps equipment in good condition and assists with preventive maintenance.
• Enters information into systems for job tracking and payroll accurately.
• Disposes waste materials into proper storage containers with required labeling.
• Complies with safety policies and GMP/HAACP/BRC regulations as applicable.
• Interacts with colleagues professionally and maintains the company code of ethics.
• Maintains daily housekeeping and cleanliness of the work area.
• Fulfills other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Reads and understands Job Tickets and layoutstoproduce the correct productofthe highest quality.
• Understands and executes planschedulesin an accurate and prompt manner to effectively maximize throughput.
• Works closely with all Associates to coordinate the workflow.
• Performance metrics must be at the average or greater for this position.
• Completes required documentation in an accurate and prompt manner.
• Safely operates material moving equipment.
• Assists in maintaining equipment for optimal operation, including adjustments. Assists with preventative maintenance.
• Correctly enters information intosystems for job tracking and payroll.
• Disposes of waste materials into proper storage containers. Mark and identify containers with required documentation.
• Complies with established facility safety policies and procedures and other regulations (IE: GMP, HAACP, BRC) as applicable.
• Interacts and behaves professionally. Treats all associates respectfully and professionally while maintaining the companycode of ethics.
• Responsible for maintaining daily housekeeping efforts.
