Job summary

MCC is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead shift operations in our Pennsylvania plant, ensuring safety, sustainability, quality, and productivity. You will direct staff on the assigned shift, manage equipment and resources, and enforce company policies and safety guidelines to meet our objectives.

The role requires hands-on leadership, adherence to GMP/ISO-like standards, and the ability to train and coach team members while reporting to the site managers.

Qualifications

• Lean manufacturing experience is required.
• 2-4 years related experience and/or training.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, methods, and practices.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines.
• Reports all safety concerns or issues to immediate supervisor.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Supervises the departments on specified shift to ensure effective and efficient operations.
• Operation of equipment and availability of necessary resources.
• Oversees and trains associates on all departmental procedures, quality procedures and all related work instructions, safety training and company policies.
• Advises managers on personnel issues.
• Manages time collection functions and submits forms on time.
• Ensures compliance with established facility safety policies and regulations (IE: ISO, GMA SAFE, HAACP) as applicable.

The physical demands require standing, using hands to finger, feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. This position requires frequent walking. Occasionally employee is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision requirements are close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
