Job summary

NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development is seeking an Inspections Support/Community Coordinator to oversee HQS inspections for HOME ARP grant projects. You will coordinate scheduling, tracking, and reporting to ensure timely inspections and compliance across the program.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work with tenants, landlords, and HPD divisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: bachelor's degree and two years of related work, or equivalent experience with at least one year in a related role.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple inspections and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate HQS inspections and re-inspections for subsidized apartments.
• Track inspection activities and maintain accurate records in databases.
• Communicate with tenants, owners, and agents about scheduling and deficiencies.
• Assist HQS staff with operational challenges and process improvements.
