Job summary

Air National Guard Units in the PA region seeks an Inspections Specialist (Superintendent) to oversee IG programs, CCIP, USAP, CRP and related compliance. You will act as a SME, plan and execute complex programs, and coordinate with Wing leadership to optimize inspections and investigations.

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a INSPECTIONS SPECIALIST (SUPERINTENDENT), Position Description Number D2897000 and is part of the PA 171st Air Refueling Wing, National Guard. 1 or more Position(s) may be hired against this Announcement. INDEFINITE Position may lead to permanent assignment without further advertisement.

Key Responsibilities

As a Inspections Specialist (Superintendent), GS-1801-12, you will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all IG programs and exercises significant responsibility as a Wing advisor of The Inspection System, CCIP, Unit Self-Assessment Program (USAP), Complaints Resolution Program (CRP) and FWA Program. Responsible for planning and executing the various complex programs supporting of the Wing CCIP.

Oversee the management of Wing instruction and develops goals using detailed analysis of the Wing USAP and IG systems of record, to include IGEMS, IGEMS-C and MICT. Serve as an independent IG in overall operation, administration, and management of the CRP, IG Investigations, FWA, and Whistleblower Reprisal program.

Coordinate with the Wing Commander and Wing IG to identify and apportion appropriate manpower to administer effective CCIP and CRPs as IG duty is a position of high public trust and personnel selected must be functional experts with a breadth of experience. Perform other duties as assigned.
