Hiring Agency: Headquarters, Air Force Reserve Command

This is an Air Reserve Technician (ART) position. ARTs are part of the regular career civil service and enjoy all the benefits granted to Federal employees in the competitive civil service.

Key Responsibilities

The primary purpose of this position is: as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) to administer the Inspector General (IG) Commander's Inspection Program (CCIP) under the leadership of the Director of Inspections. Duties: Cultivates a unit/installation CCIP to facilitate positive working relationships and effective communication with assigned organizations.

Prepares annual inspection plans which include evaluations of the effectiveness of the unit/installation, subordinate units, and programs. Administers the CCIP Dashboard and Commander's Inspection Management Board (CIMB). Analyzes, reviews, and fully implements higher-headquarters regulations and executes supplementary unit/installation inspection guidance.

Represents the wing/independent group in a wide variety of assessment functions at meetings, inworking groups, and other situations, including emergency management events in surroundingcommunities.
