Job summary

The Department of the Air Force Headquarters is seeking an Investigation and Inquiries Specialist at Lackland AFB, Texas. The role provides planning, directing, and controlling the Inspector General Office to ensure compliance with laws and regulations while meeting organizational needs.

You will serve as the Commander’s principal advisor on Complaints Resolution and Fraud, Waste, and Abuse programs, and monitor CCIP effectiveness across units.

Responsibilities

• DUTY 1: Plans, directs, and manages the activities of the Inspector General Office, ensuring that programs comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet the needs of the organization.
• DUTY 2: Serves as the Commander’s principal advisor on Air Force Complaints Resolution and Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (FWA) programs.
• DUTY 3: Monitors and evaluates the compliance and effectiveness of Commander's Inspection Programs (CCIP) among subordinate units.
• DUTY 4: Represents the Inspector General office and programs with a variety of C-NAF, subordinate, and functional area organizations.
• DUTY 5: Develops and administers a viable education and training program for C-NAF commander, staff, and subordinate units in regard to the AF Complaints Resolution and Fraud, Waste, and Abuse programs.
