Job summary

DME Lift Inc. in Franklin, WI is seeking a field technician to install and service elevators and lifts under the supervision of the Lead Technician. You will deliver equipment to job sites, assist with installation, and maintain tools and vehicles while ensuring safety and cleanliness on site.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and owning basic tools. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in this hands-on position.

Organizational Relationships:

Reports to the head of Operations. Position works with Install/Service Technicians, Lead Technician, General Contractors and Homeowners.

Summary:

Under the supervision of the Lead Technician, perform duties relating to the installation and maintenance of elevators and lifts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (duties may include, but not limited to)

• Delivers elevators/lifts to job site using company vehicles
• Assists to install and/or service elevators or lifts
• Moving and raising elevator components, using hoists, dollies or other equipment
• Provide daily job updates via email/project manager software
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment and keep parts and supplies in order
• Responsible for a clean and hazard free work area
• Follow company safety guidelines

Working Conditions:

Requirements

Skills and Other Requirements:

• Mechanical Aptitude

• Schedule based on needs. Occasional overtime

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy equipment
• Must be physically able to walk, climb, stoop, bend, kneel, crawl, stand and twist
• Must be able to work in confined spaces
• Must be able to work at heights up to 60 ft
