Job summary

MAC.BID is hiring an Inspection/Feed Associate to support the Scan Team in Anderson, SC. The role involves inspecting returned items, categorizing condition, and preparing electronics for scanning, with duties aligned to the online auction workflow.

The position is full-time, hourly, non-exempt, on-site, with hours 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Benefits include weekly pay, 401(k) matching after 90 days, and PTO after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift.
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours.
• Must be tech-savvy.
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The inspection/feed associate prepares and positions the product for the Scan Team. This position reports to the Scan or Big Box Scan Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect inbound products for obvious defects
• Categorize each product as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged
• Test electronics at a basic level to assess general condition
• Move products to the conveyor for the scanners to process
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site Monday through Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
• Must be tech-savvy
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
