Job summary

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock items, then sells these items to the public through online auctions. The Big Box Scan Team uses proprietary software to scan and upload product information into the auction portal with accuracy.

The Big Box Team handles larger items and the position reports to the Big Box Scan Team Lead. The role involves scanning heavy items, taking photos, cropping listings, and ensuring data accuracy while meeting quantity and quality goals.

Qualifications

• Must be available on-site Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift.
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time.
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Scan large, unwieldy, and heavy items into the system to create online auction listings.
• Search products online
• Take and crop photos for online listings
• Correct and complete auto-pulled information for each item
• Be responsible for meeting quantity and quality goals
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by management

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Big Box Scan Team uses proprietary software to scan and upload product information into the auction portal with accuracy. The Big Box Team deals with larger items. This position reports to the Big Box Scan Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Scan large, unwieldy, and heavy items into the system to create online auction listings
• Search products online
• Take and crop photos for online listings
• Correct and complete auto-pulled information for each item
• Be responsible for meeting quantity and quality goals
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by management
