Job summary

MAC.BID is seeking an on-site Inspection/Feed Associate in Washington to inspect inbound products, categorize condition, and test basic electronics. You will move items to the conveyor for scanning and support the Scan Team as needed. This full-time hourly, non-exempt role reports to the Scan Team Lead.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift up to 50 lbs with team, and the stamina to stand and walk for long periods. Training and benefits follow after start.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift.
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time.
• Must be tech-savvy and able to use basic equipment.
• Must follow written directions and company policies.

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The inspection/feed associate prepares and positions the product for the Scan Team. This position reports to the Scan or Big Box Scan Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect inbound products for obvious defects
• Categorize each product as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged
• Test electronics at a basic level to assess general condition
• Move products to the conveyor for the scanners to process
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site. Schedules may vary Monday through Saturday, depending on location, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break,hours determined by workload and GM
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
• Must be tech-savvy
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
