Job summary

MAC.BID in Washington state is hiring for the Big Box Scan Team to support online auctions by scanning and uploading product information, photographing items, and ensuring accurate listings. You will scan large items, crop photos, correct auto-pulled data, and help meet quantity and quality goals while reporting to the Big Box Scan Team Lead.

On-site work with varying hours Mon–Sat; must lift up to 25 lb solo (50 lb with others) and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Availability to work on-site with 8-hour shifts and a 30-minute lunch break, schedules vary by location.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift.
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time.
• Must follow written directions and company policies.

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Big Box Scan Team uses proprietary software to scan and upload product information into the auction portal with accuracy. The Big Box Team deals with larger items. This position reports to the Big Box Scan Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Scan large, unwieldy, and heavy items into the system to create online auction listings
• Search products online
• Take and crop photos for online listings
• Correct and complete auto-pulled information for each item
• Be responsible for meeting quantity and quality goals
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site. Schedules may vary Monday through Saturday, depending on location, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break, hours determined by workload and GM
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be tech-savvy
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
