Sharyland Water Supply Corporation is seeking a Customer Service Inspection Clerk to support inspection and backflow programs, keep accurate records, and help protect water quality and compliance. You’ll work onsite in Alton, Texas, Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm, handling calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining files to meet TCEQ standards.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Friendly, professional customer service.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar tools.
• Detail-focused organization and recordkeeping.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming and outgoing customer calls related to inspections and backflow assemblies
• Answer questions clearly and share the right information customers need
• Schedule Customer Service Inspector appointments and coordinate follow-ups
• Maintain organized department files and records to meet TCEQ compliance
• Prepare required inspection/backflow mailings and assist with account actions when needed
