Job summary

STI is seeking an Inspection Assistant/Helper to support inspectors by conducting tests to ensure quality and detect discontinuities. You will assist in performing NDT procedures and operate non-destructive test equipment.

Responsibilities include setting up and using NDT tools and performing other duties as assigned by Supervisors or Inspectors.

Qualifications

• Technical background preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude required.

Minimum Requirements

• Technical background desired
• Mechanical aptitude
• Exceptional safety and quality awareness
• Physical Demands and Work Conditions
• Standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, handling.
• Moving, carrying, lifting, objects in excess of 50 lbs
• Strong work ethic and Teamwork
• Oilfield experience preferred but not required
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to resolve issues as they arise

Inspection Assistant/Helper Responsibilities

• Assist Inspectors in conducting tests to ensure quality or to detect discontinuities (defects)

• Set up and utilize Non-destructive Test Equipment
• All other duties as assigned
