Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an entry-level InSite Technician to support on-site waste handling at our San Juan Capistrano, CA location. The role includes loading/unloading supplies, waste pickups, bulking and labeling waste, and ensuring regulatory compliance while working with customers on site.

You will operate forklifts, participate in spill response as needed, and receive comprehensive safety-focused training to advance in your career.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Grade 4 Industrial Wastewater License preferred.
• Willingness to complete a background check, drug test, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Making waste pickups throughout a customer's facility.
• Conducting chemical bulking and consolidation.
• Packaging and labeling waste products to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance.
• Participating in spill response on customer's site as needed.
• Operating forklifts.
• Inspecting drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Ensuring the safe loading and unloading of waste hauling vehicles.
• Completing waste stream sampling and profiling.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Valid driver's license

Grade 4 Industrial Wastewater License

Background check, drug test, and physical willingness

• 2 shifts available:
• Tuesday thru Saturday 10AM-6:30PM
• Tuesday thru Saturday 4PM-12:30AM
• Sunday and Monday off
• Possible OT
• On customer site: San Juan Capistrano, CA
• loading/unloading supplies, shipment, haz waste collection
• $23-$24
