Job summary

Escalent, a data analytics and advisory firm, seeks an Insights Director to lead the development of insights and storytelling while owning the data analysis and reporting phases of client projects.

This senior role guides day-to-day decisions, maintains strong client relationships, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality insights and tailored recommendations across industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Masters in market research is preferred
• Minimum 8 years of related experience. Prior experience supporting market research projects in CX, telecom, or online consumer platforms preferred, but not required
• Highly skilled in analytics functional skillset
• Strong communication skills - written and verbal
• Breadth of research methodology expertise including survey / instrument design
• Able to distill findings into meaningful insights
• Formation of story architecture
• Highly skilled in all aspects of Reporting (deliverables)
• Prescriptive / Consultative Writing skills - reports and client communications
• Data viz / PPT / Excel
• Autonomous report design / analysis plan
• Strong presentation and storytelling abilities
• Ability to lead project insights team
• Ability to contribute to research design and/or proposal writing
• Ability to manage multiple client engagements concurrently

Role Overview

Insights Directors at Escalent lead the development of insights and storytelling and own the data analysis and reporting phases of our work.

At Escalent, the Insights Director is a senior-level project role that helps the Sector leader fulfill the objectives for projects while maintaining strong client relationships. This role will lead day-to-day project-related decisions and client correspondence. Insights Directors contribute to client retention and growth through consistent responsiveness and delivery of high-quality insights.

Insights Positions Are Accountable For

• Collaborates with clients to design research to best address business questions.
• Presents actionable insights to clients and their stakeholders.
• Proper application of analytical techniques & tools
• Creating client-ready materials on time
• Sound process & integrity of insights

The Salary Range for this position is $95,000 - $145,000. If this is not the right level for you, please check out our other postings. This position is primarily remote; however, due to location of clients being primarily on the West Coast, candidates in the PT zone or MT zone will be given priority.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of insights and storytelling and own the data analysis and reporting phases of our work.
• Work closely with your fellow team members in other Insights roles, in Project Management positions and Sales & Strategic Growth roles in delivering our solutions in a high-quality manner.
• Leverage a variety of methods and tools and will have the benefit of collaborating with experts across Escalent.
• As you gain understanding of the nuances of the types of projects (methodologies), a particular client, the industry (or industries), and Escalent solutions, you offer consultative guidance to clients and colleagues
