Everforth Apex seeks an experienced UAM Engineer to support hosted infrastructure for a critical security program. The role requires hands-on maintenance, deployment, and configuration of the User Activity Monitor within a secure environment.

Candidates must have a DoD clearance, a strong background in UAM platforms, and leadership experience. On-site work in Lorton, VA is expected, with opportunities to mentor peers and contribute to mission protection.

Responsibilities

• Support the User Activity Monitor software, updates, changes, deployments and sustainment.
• Perform regular maintenance to ensure proper system functionality and enterprise deployment.
• Identify and resolve coverage gaps across the network.
• Assist program analysts with requests for new configurations, data feeds, and tool updates.
• Create and maintain technical documentation to capture the configuration baseline.
• Provide training to stakeholders on tool usage and assist in maintaining certification programs.

Insider Threat Program UAM Engineer

Candidates must be U.S. citizens able to obtain and/or maintain a Department of Defense security clearance as a condition and continuation of employment.

Location: Lorton, VA (On-site)

Role Overview

We are currently seeking a User Activity Monitor (UAM) Engineer to support the hosted infrastructure of a vital safety and security program. The successful candidate will utilize advanced analytics, monitoring, and data correlation to safeguard the enterprise mission. This position requires regular, hands‑on technical support and system maintenance within a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the User Activity Monitor software solution, executing updates, changes, deployments, and other sustainment activities.
• Perform regular maintenance activities to ensure proper system functionality and enterprise deployment.
• Identify and resolve coverage gaps across the network.
• Assist program analysts with requests for new configurations, data feeds, and specific tool updates.
• Create and maintain technical documentation to capture the configuration baseline accurately.
• Provide training to stakeholders on tool usage and assist in maintaining certification programs for personnel development.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree will also be considered.
• 8+ years of prior relevant professional experience, or a Master’s degree with 6 years of experience.
• Must possess supervising or team leadership experience, alongside recent hands‑on technical support and coding experience within a UAM platform. Candidates transitioning from management must have performed hands‑on technical work within the last 2 years.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency with EverFox or similar user activity monitoring products and platforms.
• Must demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills, with proven experience developing technical documents, reports, and briefings for stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in IT Management, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• 10+ years of experience in IT service delivery management.
• Advanced experience with Everfox or similar high-speed guard platforms.
