Job description

**Description**

The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for an Analyst Manager supporting the HEITS Contract as part of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Insider Threat Program (ITP). This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience to manage a team of analysts, data scientists, and investigators in executing the ITP mission. The ITP identifies insider threats to the department by utilizing advanced analytics, monitoring, and data correlation which in turn help address and eliminate potential threat actors from compromising the DHS mission in safeguarding the homeland.

The selected candidate will oversee a team of 20 individuals who will be responsible for the following:

+ Utilizing the User Activity Monitor to identify patterns, trends, and early indicators of behavior which may suggest insider threat actions.

+ Develop a single pain of glass solution to aggregate all disparate data feeds into a singular interface to visualize actionable intelligence.

+ Identify new models and methodologies for pattern recognition.

+ Support data science techniques to modernize and enhance big data processing.

+ Support all documentation to effectively capture the configuration baseline.

+ Support performance management to ensure key metrics are tracked and captured reflected the efficacy and performance of the enterprise.

+ Support investigative and hunt team activities as directed by the ITP PMO.

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ Bachelors degree and (8)+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with (6)+ years of prior relevant experience

+ Prior leadership responsibilities

+ Excellent written and oral communication skills

+ Experienced and adept at intelligence analysis

+ Experienced with preparing and presenting briefings to senior customer management, and customer stakeholders

+ Ability to obtain DHS EOD SCI

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in IT Management, Engineering, or related field

+ Proven experience (10+ years) in Intelligence Analysis or Insider Threat Program support

+ Data Science background and experience

+ Understanding of big data principles with regards to data correlation tactics and techniques

+ Experience with artificial intelligence solutions

+ Experience overseeing a team of intelligence analysts

**Pay Range:**

Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00
