Description

The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for an Analyst Manager supporting the HEITS Contract as part of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Insider Threat Program (ITP). This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience to manage a team of analysts, data scientists, and investigators in executing the ITP mission. The ITP identifies insider threats to the department by utilizing advanced analytics, monitoring, and data correlation, helping to address and eliminate potential threat actors from compromising the DHS mission in safeguarding the homeland.

The selected candidate will oversee a team of 20 individuals responsible for:

• Utilizing the User Activity Monitor to identify patterns, trends, and early indicators of behavior suggesting insider threat actions.
• Developing a unified interface to aggregate all disparate data feeds for visualization of actionable intelligence.
• Identifying new models and methodologies for pattern recognition.
• Supporting data science techniques to modernize and enhance big data processing.
• Documenting configurations to capture the baseline setup effectively.
• Tracking key metrics to assess the performance and efficacy of the enterprise.
• Supporting investigative and hunt team activities as directed by the ITP PMO.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Prior leadership experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experienced in intelligence analysis.
• Ability to prepare and present briefings to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ability to obtain DHS EOD SCI clearance.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in IT Management, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Over 10 years of proven experience in Intelligence Analysis or Insider Threat Program support.
• Background in Data Science.
• Understanding of big data principles, data correlation tactics, and techniques.
• Experience with artificial intelligence solutions.
• Experience managing a team of intelligence analysts.

Pay Range: $126,100.00 - $227,950.00
