Summary Job Description: This position is responsible for applying upholstery materials to furniture frames using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and special upholstery tools.

1. Use various tools to apply padding and upholstery fabric to a wood frame, completing the inside of an upholstered piece of furniture.
2. Build pieces so cover is smooth and fits the frame properly.
3. Read and follow production tickets.
4. Line, spot match, 4-way line, and tuft the upholstery.
5. Follow all safety policies and procedures.
6. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous upholstery experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and repetitive tasks.
• Ability to work in noisy environments.
• Manual dexterity to assemble products or operate machinery as directed.
• Frequently lift/carry objects up to 50 lbs.; rarely lift/carry objects 51-75 lbs.
