The Position:

We are seeking a Experienced Leather Upholsterer (Floater) to join our team in our Hickory, NC location. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable with physical work, and committed to maintaining quality craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform various upholstery tasks as needed, including but not limited to trimming, inside upholstery work, and brass nailing.
  • Float between different workstations to support production demands.
  • Uphold the highest standards of quality consistent with luxury furniture.
  • Handle, stretch, and secure leather materials with precision and care.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and timelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety protocols.
Candidates that will be a great fit:
  • Experience in upholstery with high-end furniture, including leather upholstery.
  • Skilled in trimming, inside work, and brass nail application.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders and product specifications.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver upholstery components as needed.
  • Flexibility to move between tasks and adapt to production needs

Shift:Monday to Thursday- 7 am-4:30 pm, Fridays 7 am- 11 am
