This position involves applying upholstery materials to furniture frames using various hand tools, power tools, and specialized upholstery tools.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Use tools to apply padding and upholstery fabric to wood frames, completing the interior of upholstered furniture.
2. Build pieces ensuring the cover is smooth and fits the frame properly.
3. Read and follow production tickets accurately.
4. Perform tasks such as lining, spot matching, 4-way lining, and tufting.
5. Follow all safety policies and procedures.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous upholstery experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged standing and repetitive tasks.
• Ability to work in noisy environments.
• Manual dexterity for assembly and operation of machinery.
• Frequent lifting of objects up to 50 lbs.; occasional lifting of 51-75 lbs.
