Job Description

The Inside Territory Sales Consultant is responsible for prospecting, qualifying, appointing, and managing agencies in a virtual market to produce profitable sales and growth. This role also involves meeting and exceeding volume and profit objectives, maintaining and growing relationships with appointed agents, serving as a subject matter expert, mentoring others, and supporting special projects.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Recommends agencies to participate in profit-sharing, rewards, and incentives programs, and other sales initiatives.
  2. Solicits new agencies as appropriate, manages virtual agent relationships, evaluates their potential to write quality new business, and appoints qualified agencies with oversight from IA Virtual Market Manager.
  3. Exceeds new business production, premium, loss ratio goals, and KPIs by effectively managing assigned agents within the virtual market.
  4. Serves as a role model for the team, embracing initiatives like cross-selling and assisting in training and mentoring new hires.
  5. Terminates agents for lack of production, unprofitable results, or other causes.
  6. Increases the percentage of producing agents through additional training and process improvements.

Education

4-year Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)

5 or more years of experience (Preferred)

Compensation

Annual salary ranges from $57,860 to $79,550, based on experience and qualifications.

This position requires a background check. Allstate generally does not sponsor work visas for this role.
