Job summary

Apogee Enterprises, Inc. in Monett, MO is seeking an Inside Sales Technician to support the Architectural Metals segment by ensuring timely and accurate processing of estimates and orders.

You will work closely with the direct Sales Representative, Estimators, Project Managers, and Engineering to deliver top-notch customer service. You will prepare RFQs, price projects, and coordinate with multiple teams while maintaining detailed logs and project follow-ups.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Construction or Project Management preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in estimating, engineering, drafting, factory order, or project management.
• Extensive knowledge of EFCO brand product preferred.
• Strong mathematical and numeracy skills; data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a Request for Quote (RFQ) from a list of materials, elevation takeoff, or plans and specifications.
• Price storefronts, curtain walls, doors using Price Book, Online Rapid Entry or Glaziers Studio.
• Ensure the customer receives superior service through processing orders, preparing general correspondence, and coordinating with other departments.
• Generate material lists and elevation takeoffs based on architectural drawings.
• Prepare and submit project submittals, including samples, mockups.
• Verify accuracy of quote by cross referencing RFQ.
• Maintain a working log of all project activity requests.
• Participate in weekly project follow up meetings and other calls, as needed, to successfully sell work.
