Job summary

MK Search is hiring an Inside Sales & Sales Support Specialist for its US office in Farmington Hills, partnering with a global manufacturer of engineering plastics. You will be the linchpin between Sales, Supply Chain, Customer Service and Finance, ensuring distributors and customers stay well supported in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in sales support or similar role.
• Experience with Salesforce or SAP preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills: VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, pivot tables.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication and cross-team collaboration.

• Keep customer, contract, pricing and sales records accurate in Salesforce.
• Support sales administration and order management in SAP.
• Process sales information and paperwork accurately and on time.

MK Search is partnering with a global manufacturer of high-performance engineering plastics to hire an Inside Sales & Sales Support Specialist for its US office in Farmington Hills.

Its materials go into automotive, electrical/electronics, industrial and consumer products around the world. This is a new hire for a growing US team. You'll be at the centre of the commercial operation, working with Sales, Supply Chain, Customer Service and Finance to keep distributors and customers well supported.

What you'll do

• Handle day-to-day communication and support for distributors and customers
• Support inside sales: answer customer questions and follow up
• Prepare, maintain and analyse sales forecasts, monthly sales reports and other sales operations reporting
• Manage pricing, including price registrations, updates and upkeep in internal systems
• Support credit management, working with Accounting and Finance
• Keep customer, contract, pricing and sales records accurate in Salesforce
• Support sales administration and order management in SAP
• Process sales information and paperwork accurately and on time

What we're looking for

• 2+ years in sales support, inside sales, sales operations, distributor management or a similar role
• Experience with Salesforce, SAP or similar CRM/ERP systems (preferred)
• Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and pivot tables
• Strong attention to detail, with good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Clear written and verbal communication, and comfort working with many different teams
• Able to juggle several priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent education and experience
• Experience in chemicals, plastics, automotive or manufacturing is a plus but not required
