Job summary

Mettler-Toledo seeks an Inside Sales Support Specialist in Billerica, MA, to back Field Sales by preparing technical quotes, supporting account growth, and moving opportunities from inquiry to order review. You’ll engage customers by phone and virtually, understand needs, and coordinate with internal teams to resolve questions.

The role emphasizes CRM accuracy, pricing compliance, and building knowledge of Process Analytics products to drive consumables, accessories, and service opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; alternatively 3+ years of relevant experience or training.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with SAP or CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
• Collaborative mindset across sales, technical support, service and operations teams.

Responsibilities

If you enjoy building customer relationships, finding solutions, and helping drive sales, this role could be a great fit. As an Inside Sales Support Specialist, you’ll partner with our Field Sales team to prepare technical quotes, support account growth, and keep opportunities moving—from initial inquiry through order review.

• Partner with Field Sales Representatives to identify opportunities, grow target accounts, and coordinate customer appointments.

• Review customer requirements, prepare quotes and proposals, and perform technical order reviews.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, potentially 11:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.

What You Need to Succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field preferred; alternatively, at least 3 years of relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with SAP or another CRM system and Microsoft Office.
• Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work across sales, technical support, service, and operations teams.
