Job summary

Herchenbach Industrial Building Solutions is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Manager to own the end-to-end inside sales process from lead intake through formal proposal and handoff to Outside Sales.

In this senior, standalone role you will drive discovery, solution positioning, and collaboration with Business Development, Marketing, and senior leadership to ensure accurate proposals and a smooth transition to field sales.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of B2B inside sales experience, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, or engineered solutions.
• Proven ability to independently manage complex sales cycles.
• Strong discovery, presentation, and proposal development skills.
• High commercial acumen and attention to detail.
• Comfort working directly with senior leadership.
• Strong CRM discipline and process orientation.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the five-step customer engagement process.
• Lead intake and qualification, including discovery to validate needs and budgets.
• Drive customer engagement & solution development, including demos.
• Develop accurate, high-quality proposals and confirm pricing fit.
• Coordinate structured handoffs to Outside Sales with complete context.
• Collaborate with BDM, Marketing, and Outside Sales to align opportunities.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and provide forecasts to the GM.
• Identify process gaps and drive improvements to increase velocity.
