Job summary

ABC Supply in Dubuque, IA is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to help customers select roofing, siding and window products. You will follow product checklists, upsell where appropriate, handle orders by phone, and ensure accurate payments.

The role requires proficiency in Excel, 1–2 years of related experience, and strong communication. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus. You will work with a team to keep shelves stocked and deliveries on track.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Excel is required.
• 1–2 years' experience in roofing, siding, and windows is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective time management and prioritization skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Positive attitude and team player.
• Detail and service-oriented.
• Bilingual speaking in Spanish/English is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determining customers’ needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions
• Following a product/supply checklist for each customer’s job and up-selling additional products and supplies
• Answering telephones and entering sales orders
• Accepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer account
• Coordinating customer pick ups with the warehouse
• Following up on deliveries to ensure materials arrived on time with all items accounted for
• Reordering products to keep the store and warehouse shelves well stocked
• Addressing and resolving service concerns, should they arise
