Job summary

Bürkert Group is seeking an Inside Sales professional for our Huntersville, NC site. This fully onsite role involves handling inquiries, generating quotes, and coordinating with field and technical sales to support customers across regions.

The candidate should have 3–5+ years in customer service/inside sales in manufacturing or office settings, a Bachelor’s degree preferred, and strong communication, time management, and CRM skills. Travel is expected up to 10% or more.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree is preferred.
• 3-5+ years of customer service and/or inside experience preferably in a manufacturing, office environment.
• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office, including CRM.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and emails to the Inside Sales Department.
• Generate Quotes, order entry, certificates, etc to move orders through the lifecycle.
• Represent and coordinate Burkert's offerings to potential and current customer base.
• Partner and liaise effectively with Field Sales, Technical Sales and others to meet customer needs, drive full cycle sales coverage and achieve regional goals.
• Collaborate and interface with other Burkert departments, distributors, OEMs and channel partners, as needed.
• Focus on a growing understanding of Burkert products, markets, applications, and distributor models.
• Develop a functional understanding of the customer's needs as related to the Burkert products or services being sold.
• Complete rotation of training courses to gain knowledge of products, selling skills, customer relationship skills and others as needed.
• Participate in trade shows and onsite/offsite customer visits as needed.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
