Job summary

Hellenic Cables Americas seeks an Inside Sales Specialist to support the commercial team by preparing technical and commercial offers, coordinating inquiries, and driving internal project follow-up in Baltimore, MD. You will interact with engineering, planning, production, and sales to convert specifications into competitive quotations.

Based onsite, you will handle RFQs, tender docs, and customer inquiries, maintaining records and supporting order progression across transmission, distribution,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent industry experience considered.
• Minimum 3 years inside sales, sales support, or customer service in wire/cable or power infra.
• Ability to read and interpret customer specifications and product docs.
• Commercial and product knowledge to translate requirements into quotations.
• Strong organization to manage multiple quotations and deadlines.
• Proven problem-solving, negotiation, and coordination skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Proficiency with SAP, CRM, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotations and commercial offers for cable and system inquiries.
• Review customer specs, escalate technical questions to engineering.
• Coordinate with engineering, planning, and production for data, pricing, lead times.
• Support Regional Sales Managers with quotations and follow-up.
• Manage RFQs, orders, and tender docs in SAP and internal systems.
• Act as main contact for customers and distributors on product and pricing.
• Monitor tender platforms and assist in competitive bid documentation.
• Submit offers timely and maintain records of communications.
• Track open orders and coordinate with planning/logistics on delivery schedules.
• Support after-sales with feedback, documentation, and issue resolution.
• Maintain an active inside sales pipeline across projects (transmission, data center, etc.).
• Collaborate with marketing, product management, and operations to meet requirements.
• Represent the company professionally in external communications.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and professional standards.
• Fully onsite in Baltimore with up to 10% travel as needed.
