Job summary

Hellenic Cables is expanding with a new Baltimore, Maryland facility and seeks a Production Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations. The role focuses on safety, quality, and continuous improvement in a highly automated wire and cable environment.

Reporting to the Senior Operations Director, you will drive production planning, staff development, and cross-functional coordination across supply chain, engineering, and quality to ensure on-time delivery and optimal plant performance.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience in wire and cable manufacturing preferred.
• Strong leadership in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, ISO standards, and continuous improvement.
• Experience with production planning, scheduling, KPI management, and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets.
• Develop and execute production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize manufacturing efficiency.
• Oversee extrusion, stranding, jacketing, and related production activities.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Logistics teams to support operations and delivery commitments.
• Monitor performance, downtime, scrap, and OEE to identify improvement opportunities.
• Drive Lean initiatives focused on waste reduction and productivity gains.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
• Lead and develop supervisors and operators to build a high-performing team.
