Job summary

Oldcastle APG in Greenville, SC is seeking an inside sales professional to handle counter and phone inquiries, process orders, and coordinate with dispatch and vendors. The role blends customer service with sales support for outside representatives and contractors.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, proficiency with Word/Excel/Outlook, and prior sales experience; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, with forklift experience seen as a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/equivalent or related education/experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Previous sales experience.
• Experience with multi-line phone system preferred.
• Knowledge of concrete masonry is a plus.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Some forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive customer phone calls; provide support to customers and contractors via phone and in person.
• Refer to product catalogs and specification guides to determine related product uses and applications.
• Work closely with outside sales representatives regarding sales promotions and initiatives which require phone contact and follow-up.
• Help customers with design ideas/problems; provides customer feedback to management.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with dispatch and maintain customer informed of such schedules.
• Retrieve information for credit department when needed.
