Specialty Building Products seeks an Inside Sales Representative to handle inquiries, prepare quotes, and coordinate with outside sales. You will assist customers with pricing, availability, and product information while coordinating orders and deliveries.

This role emphasizes service quality, market awareness, and timely follow-up in a fast-paced environment. The position operates Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm, with a starting pay of $31.25 per hour and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; a 2-year degree preferred.
• 2–4 years sales experience, building industry experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills including service-oriented telephone manner.
• Understand and possess good business and selling principles and negotiation skills.
• Must be computer literate: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong organization and administration skills.
• Self-starter, pro-active and able to take initiative.
• Must have basic math and analytical skills.

Responsabilités

• Receive calls related to sales inquiries to provide pricing, availability, and product information.
• Execute strategic plans with Outside sales; handle orders, pricing requests, and deliveries.
• Inform customers of unit pricing, shipping dates, delays, and other requested details.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Stay informed on industry trends and market dynamics within the retail sector.
