Job summary

Shepherd Controls is seeking an Inside Sales Representative (ISR) to join our sales and customer support team in Allen, Texas. You will generate sales, build relationships, and coordinate across Shepherd Controls and Flow Control Group brands to deliver exceptional service.

You will collaborate with our Outside Sales team, participate in product and portal training, and help drive quotes, orders, and customer satisfaction across multiple platforms including Salesforce and P21.

Qualifications

• Inside sales and/or customer support experience.
• Able to multitask and use multiple platforms.
• Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written.
• Experience and track record in meeting or exceeding sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Generate sales by proactively contacting customers, upselling, and following up on quotes and orders.
• Build customer relationships through timely follow-up and professional service.
• Support Outside Sales and coordinate departments within Shepherd Controls and FCG brands.
• Learn product lines and participate in training to stay updated.
• Prepare and process quotes, orders, RMAs, and invoices.
• Record information in P21, Salesforce, and quote tool.
• Meet bookings, margins, and revenue goals; participate in incentive programs.
• Collaborate with vendors and represent the company professionally.
