Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative in Bozeman, MT. You will prepare detailed pricing proposals, support sales opportunities, and provide product information to outside reps, contributing to the utility market segment.

This role requires flexibility across warehouse, yard, counter, and administrative duties and offers a structured schedule. You will maintain customer documentation, ensure order accuracy, and collaborate with internal teams to meet quality and safety

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a sales support, customer service, or related role.
• Experience in Waterworks or Construction is a plus.
• Must be comfortable performing physically demanding work.
• Ability to transition between warehouse, yard, counter, and administrative duties as needed.
• Experience in a target-driven sales environment preferred.
• Developing knowledge of sales techniques such as prospecting, negotiation, persuasion, and closing.
• Strong organizational and project management skills; experience in project management is a plus

Responsibilities

• Support new sales opportunities by monitoring bids, researching projects, and assisting with prospecting efforts.
• Provide product and technical information to outside sales representatives, supporting efforts to generate sales in the utility market segment.
• Develop and maintain customer documentation that outlines product information and solution details.
• Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring effective communication, timely order fulfillment, and resolution of technical or service-related issues.
• Oversee and support the full Order-to-Invoice cycle, ensuring quality standards are upheld and all corrective actions and field quality reports are managed effectively.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, including Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements.
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance and complete other duties as assigned.
• Responsibilities include training and working in the warehouse, pipe yard, and at the sales counter

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our team, located in Bozeman, MT.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage detailed pricing proposals and quotations for products and services across various projects.
• Support new sales opportunities by monitoring bids, researching projects, and assisting with prospecting efforts.
• Provide product and technical information to outside sales representatives, supporting efforts to generate sales in the utility market segment.

Pay Range

$17.77 - $28.42

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
