Steel Dynamics, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales / Customer Service professional in Pelham, Alabama. This role supports the sales team by managing bid processes, assisting with key accounts, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Key qualifications include strong computer skills, effective communication, and the ability to travel. Preferred candidates will have a 4-year college degree related to the field and Salesforce experience. This position is critical for maintaining sales continuity and driving success in accounts.

Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Input project details into the CRM software and review blueprints.
• Forward quotes to the sales team for customer distribution.
• Assist outside sales team in lead generation.
• Cover for RSMs during absences and assist in open territories.
• Review and file contracts and assess orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Manage several key accounts.

Overview

Inside Sales / Customer Service

Support sales to improve their productivity by inputting bids, preparing reports, coordinating with other teams, and handling assigned accounts.

Responsibilities

• Receive bid requests from outside sales reps, input project details into the CRM software, review blueprints, and schedule estimates to be completed.
• Conduct brief reviews of quotes, then forward them to sales team for distribution to customers.
• Work with the outside sales team for lead generation.
• Ensuring continuity of sales operations by covering for RSM’s during vacations or other absences and assisting with open territories as required.
• Assist with contract receipt, review and filing.
• Perform an initial assessment of orders to verify the presence and accuracy of all required information and documents.
• Assuming primary responsibility for the management of several key accounts.
• Communicate on a regular basis with Market Manager

Qualifications

• Required:

  • Proficient computer skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage and monitor the bid process daily.
  • Effective communication both in written and verbal form
  • Organized and ability to prioritize well.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to see customers and outside sales reps
  • Capable of handling difficult customers with professionalism
  • Willingness to relocate if needed and have the ambition to advance into a Regional Sales Manager position.
