The individual will learn and demonstrate a working understanding of real-time PCR / qPCR workflows in laboratory practice. Experience in other genetic analysis methods is a plus but not required. Successful applicants will be trained in Professional Selling Skills (PSS) to enhance sales and strategic selling effectiveness. They will develop telephone selling skills to build rapport and consultative relationships with customers, using Thermo Fisher Scientific’s products to address customer needs, win orders, and grow our business. Responsibilities include maintaining existing business, cold calling to develop new accounts, and participating in product and system training, marketing campaigns, and special projects. New hires will undergo onboarding, sales skills training, and ongoing development throughout the year.
