Job summary

Arrow Building Center, Lampert Lumber and Lyman Lumber Companies, divisions of US LBM, are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support new and existing customer sales and provide product support for kitchen and bath, both in person and over the phone. You will prepare quotes, supply product dimensions, and collaborate with kitchen and bath sales reps.

The role requires 1–3 years in kitchen and bath or inside sales, a high school diploma or GED, and strong communication and interpersonal

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries on product selection, pricing, orders, and deliveries.
• Initiate calls to customers to generate sales.

• Resolve back orders and billing issues.

A Brief Overview

The Inside Sales Representative assists with new and existing customer sales and provides product support to kitchen and bath sales representatives. This position provides quotes and product dimension information, both in person and over the phone.

What you will do

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding product selection, placement of orders, prices and quotations, complaints, and scheduling of deliveries and installations.
• Initiate telephone calls to customers to generate sales.
• Obtain orders from customers and sales representatives; enter work order, credit return, return authorization, pick ticket, and service request; file paperwork accordingly.
• Coordinate purchase and delivery of special products. Obtains information on pricing specifications, uses and availability.
• Manage schedules for project by coordinating with outside sales, jobsites, and assigned customers.
• Researches credits, returns, and late payments as needed.
• Check on back orders and resolve any outstanding issues; solve billing problems and compile data for closing.
• Handle special orders and advanced pricing; assist with pricing and special price lists.
• Develop and grow professional relationships with customers.
• Resolve jobsite issues and customer problems.
• Kitchen and bath design and estimating.

Education Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2020 design experience preferred.

Experience Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in kitchen and bath industry with basic knowledge of product and application required.
• 1-3 years of inside sales experience preferred.

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to operate computer, calculator and cash register.
• Knowledge of building supplies, applications, related equipment, and/or construction industry.
• Good interpersonal and customer relations skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Should be familiar with inventory and inventory control.
• Must be able to walk throughout yards, plants and offices.
