Job summary

Metrie EL & EL in Chino, California, seeks an Inside Sales Representative, Doors, to provide customer service and process orders. You will be the first point of contact for customers and maintain relationships while staying current on products, pricing, and market conditions.

Location is onsite five days a week. You will report to the Inside Sales Manager, Doors, and collaborate with production to move orders to fulfillment.

What You’ll Do

As the Inside Sales Representative, Doors, you will be responsible for providing customer service support and other related services for our Metrie EL & EL customers. You will have the opportunity to be the first point of contact for our customers. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining positive customer relationships and keeping current on company products, sales procedures, and market conditions.

Key Relationships: You will report directly to the Inside Sales Manager, Doors. You will be a key team member on our Doors Inside Sales team.

Location: This position is based in Chino, California.

Schedule: Onsite 5 days per week, Monday-Friday

At a high-level, you will:

• Answer customer phone calls and questions and enter orders
• Develop and maintain positive customer relationships
• Provide price quoting to customers and coordinate with onsite production department to facilitate the movement of sale through to production
• Maintain and keep current detailed records, reports, and customer data
• Effectively represent Metrie EL & EL’s interests when dealing with customers, the community, team members, and suppliers

Who You Are

You are an ideal candidate if you:

• Are comfortable being on the phone with customers
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Have prior experience in customer service
• Have experience with Ponderosa (preferred)
• Are familiar with doors, the building industry, and construction practices (preferred)

In adherence to the principle of pay transparency, we are pleased to disclose the base pay for this full-time position at Metrie. The base pay for this role is starting at $23.00 per hour. The specific base pay within the range will be contingent upon an individual's skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Furthermore, it is essential to highlight that our remuneration ranges are established based on the role, level, and location.
