Job summary

ABC Supply Co. Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Associate in Green Bay, WI. You will help customers select exterior and interior building products, process sales orders, and ensure on-time deliveries. The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and a team-oriented approach.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday 7am–5pm with some Saturdays. ABC Supply offers a comprehensive benefits package and a path for growth within a nationwide wholesale distributor of building products.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience in roofing, siding, and windows preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective time management and prioritization skills
• Basic computer skills
• Positive attitude and team player
• Detail and service-oriented

Responsibilities

• Determine customers’ needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions
• Follow a product/supply checklist for each customer’s job and up-sell additional products and supplies
• Answer telephones and enter sales orders
• Accept payments and apply to customer accounts
• Coordinate customer pickups with the warehouse
• Follow up on deliveries to ensure materials arrive on time and accounted for
• Reorder products to keep shelves stocked
• Address and resolve service concerns as they arise

Specific Duties May Include

• Determining customers’ needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions
• Following a product/supply checklist for each customer’s job and up-selling additional products and supplies
• Answering telephones and entering sales orders
• Accepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer account
• Coordinating customer pick ups with the warehouse
• Following up on deliveries to ensure materials arrived on time with all items accounted for
• Reordering products to keep the store and warehouse shelves well stocked
• Addressing and resolving service concerns, should they arise

Specific Qualifications Include

• 1-2 years' experience in roofing, siding, and windows is preferred (roofing supply sales or site work with a crew)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective time management and prioritization skills
