Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an inside sales representative and project manager to coordinate customer support from quote to delivery. You will educate customers, interpret project requirements, develop specs, provide quotes, and manage orders end-to-end.<\/p>

The role emphasizes pre-sale and post-sale coordination, ERP order entry, and maintaining strong customer relationships in an all-office setting. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a sales or service-oriented industry preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills coupled with detail orientation and organizational skills.
• Strong professionalism and work ethic.
• Sufficient personal computer and business software application capabilities required.
• A combination of education and experience may be qualifying.
• This job is 100% office based.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue customer leads and opportunities.
• Educate the customer, interpret project requirements, and develop project specifications.
• Generate professional project estimates and sales of metal building systems, residential metal roofing and components.
• Enter sales orders into software systems and coordinate internal resources to provide customers with desired products and services in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
• Comprehensive order review with the customer prior to submitting the order and coordinate internal resources to deliver.
• Manage post-delivery issues such as damages, shortages, delays, changes, field fabrication methods, etc.
• Ensure proper pricing guidelines, policies, and procedures are followed.
• Serve as the customer’s point of contact and maintain positive relationships.
• Act as liaison between customer and company regarding issues and needs.
• Analyze and report competitive market information.
• Provide customer-focused activities, deliverables, and services.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Description

Serve as an inside sales representative and project manager to coordinate customer support activities from quote to delivery. Pre-sale job duties include educating the customer, understanding/interpreting project requirements, developing project specifications, providing quotes and obtaining contracts and deposits. Post-sale job duties include sales order entry, order coordination with technical services, manufacturing and delivery.

KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Educate the customer, interpret project requirements, and develop project specifications.
