Job summary

Anchor Pump, 142 Schoolhouse Rd, Souderton, PA, is seeking an Inside Sales/Customer Service representative. You will manage customer relationships, provide pricing, take orders by phone and email, and process orders through our system. Occasional vendor trainings and travel may be required, with expenses covered.

  • Maintain and cultivate positive customer relationships and be comfortable communicating via phone and email
  • Provide price and availability on any standard or specialty items directly to customers
  • Take and solicit orders from customers over the phone and via e-mail
  • Process orders, via order entry system, from our stock or directly source from suppliers
  • Expedite orders and maintain contact with customers and suppliers.
  • Follow up on orders to assure critical deliveries.
  • Resolve any order problems related to delivery or paperwork issues directly with customer and suppliers.
  • Handle all inquiries/contacts in a professional manner
  • Work in concert with our outside sales team; funnel leads/opportunities to the sales team
  • Resolve product issues or determine product needs over the phone or via e-mail
  • Assist with Shipping and Receiving of Products as they come in
  • Periodically you will be asked to attend essential trainings at our vendor locations that may involve overnight travel. All travel expenses will be reimbursed and paid for by the company.
  • Ability to address concerns and communicate clearly and efficiently
  • Convey a positive, customer-friendly disposition
  • Comfortability communicating with customers and coworkers on the phone
  • Handle and resolve challenging problems
  • Strong organizational, communication, attention to detail and time management skills
  • Establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as desktop/laptop computers, photocopiers, and smartphones. You will be provided with multiple screens, headsets, and everything needed to perform your duties.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift up to 15 lbs., open filing cabinets and bend, stand, sit, as necessary.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM. A 30 min lunch break is included during that period. Our company receives
